This series just keeps getting better and better. The first book had me hooked and this one was no different. Cole shows the more humane side to whatever creature she writes about, and in this book she gives us the "inside" look at the rare vamon. Certain pages of this book will make you melt because Malkom is so savage, yet for his mate he is gentle and loving. And honestly, no other man would be able to handle Carrow. As always, a must read :) I think this is the point where I need to take a step back and let the series go. Unfortunately this book as well didn't cut it for me. Both the characters were lacking. This book was just packed with solid amounts of drama. Too much drama. If anything could/did go wrong, you bet it did. The HEA was lacking. I feel like it just ended, and all of a sudden everyone is happy? Meh. I might finish the series someday, but for now, Ill stop here.
What do You think about Dark Demon (2013)?
Really liked this one. Great write as usually. Loved Malkom and his broken yet lovable self.
