I stopped reading about 2 pages into chapter 7. I couldn't bring myself to endure this any longer. I tried.. I really tried.Why I personally do not like this book:* Fast paced in an unrealistic way.* Things are too perfect. * Sara is too Mary-sue in her ways.* Style of writing.. some things are grammatically correct but could have been better when rephrased. Made me doubt my own English capabilities at times..* Everything. Is. Too. Perfect!* Focuses on things that could use a bit less focus. (Because really - I got the general idea now, thanks. No need to repeat is 4x on a single page.)I just couldn't take the story serious. I feel even unreal/fantasy stories should have a semblance of realism in some kind of way. For me, this book lacked it.The only thing that kept me reading was the fact I wanted to know more of the world behind Azrael. It feels like an original concept, so that's basically what keeps me going. For people who like to be swept away by simply the idea of being swept from their daily lives by a hot stunning man - this book is for you.It just didn't cut it for me. Another amazing book by Kristen Painter!!I feel in love with Azreal and Sara. They made this book very enjoyable. So much love and romance and sadness but I was very happy with the happy ending which surprised me. A love between a Reaper of Mercy and a mortal and with the amazing plot that Kristen made was a wonderful chock. For a supernatural lover I believe this was a great modern age fantasy with a big impact on deep love between an angel and a human. The way the characters begin in the story and fall into one character was a delight. The story begins with a Dr. named Sara who is divorced and struggling financially because of the divorce. The Reaper named Azreal is just a typical reaper, alone and into his work. He never understood the feeling of having someone to love or love him. Sara one day sees Azreal Reaping a soul of a dying cancer woman and Azreal can't believe that a mortal can see him. That intrigues him and that is where the whole story begins.
Loved this book so much. I hope she is going to do the other two brothers too.
