Wow to the rape part but she sends him to he'll. Well done Risa.she's imagery for azriel for bringing her back but he loves her and just doesn't know how to tell her. But can't bare to lose her. These last few book brought.me back to Risa story I was predicting Riley Henson series but Risa finally getting into her own. I'm starting this book and I can instantly tell this is part of a series and not a stand alone book. The first chapter has Risa waking after a bender on alcohol and admitting she was pregnant. What? So throw your moral compass out the door, wtf is going on. She was drinking while knowing she was pregnant.....huh? So this beginning starts out like a soap opera and that's not all. She was taken to a secret location with Iliana, Tao, and Stane. Iliana is a horse shifter and a powerful witch who is going to save the brindle....whatever that is. Tao is a flat mate, and Mirri is Iliana's partner and they are gay. Risa's dad pays her a visit apparently Risa was a bad girl and let the keys be stolen from her. Okay I'm done. I can't evaluate this book because I have no clue what is going on. This is not a stand alone, and there is not enough information to even consider reading this. I don't know who the Raziq is or the Aedh,or mijai. Risa has had so many sexual partners by 12% in that I'm not sure what to think. Thanks netgalley for a read in exchange for my thoughts.
