This is from a series that takes characters from the scriptures and brings them to life. I have never paid much attention to this section of the Book of Mormon I guess as I didn't remember the story, which only encompasses 2 chapters or so. An interesting take on the story. A few parts that made me cringe and frustrated but I like how it shows the peace being good can bring and how wickedness doesn't bring happiness. I think Heather Moore is one of the greatest writers of our time. She takes her time to research and put out a well scripted story and I am grateful for her talent and sharing her talents with all of us. This story is much like her other scripture fiction series as she embellishes what little we know about the real events. She is able to put faces to these characters we read about and makes them into real living breathing individuals. I love how well she is able to do this!
I like Heather's style of writing. Quick, easy read that makes the scriptures come alive.
