A cute, sweet love story. Craig works at a job that he doesn't want and lives with a roommate who is a egotistical bully. David is a widower with a little daughter. David has no life outside his daughter. Craig has no life outside of school and trying to never be homeless again. They meet and it is hot.It was nice to have characters with depth and real emotion. I enjoyed this story. It made me happy. Well, that's one way to meet your mate. I really loved this novella and thought the characters were fabulous. Maia was utterly adorable and her father, David, was such an awkward mess at the beginning that you just had to root for his happy ending. Craig was a guy you wanted to feel sorry for, but applaud for trying to make something of himself. The two were a perfect fit for each other. I'll probably read this book again and think most people will enjoy it.Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.
