Dawnbreaker was fabulous! Every book in this series gets better! In Dawnbreaker Mira and Danaus are preparing to stop the last sacrifice so that the Aurora, the queen of the Naturi, and the rest of the Naturi can't come through the magic door. They get a very unexpected ally, one of Aurora's sisters, who wants to live in peace with the inhabitents of earth instead of destroying them. I have a confession to make: I like urban fantasy and paranormal romance novels. Okay - I've said it. I'm almost embarrassed to say it, but it's true. I've recently gotten into some of the wildly popular adult and young adult urban fantasy/paranormal romance novels (even of the mass market paperback type) because they are full of fun and are great means of escape. That doesn't mean that I think all these novels are good. In fact, since I've started to read so many, I have become even more critical as to which ones are worthwhile reads. Not all of them are great, or even good - really, most of them are mediocre. Dawnbreaker, the third book in Jocelyn Drake's Dark Days series, however, is one of the better ones that I've read recently. I wouldn't say that it's great, but it's definitely a notch above mediocre - and, of course, downright fun.
What do You think about Dawnbreaker (2009)?
I'm very interested in seeing the developing relationship between the Hunter and Mira...

How long can Drake drag her feet on Mira/Danaus? It's absolutely frustrating!
