Pleasantly surprised by this book. I got it for free from Amazon for my Kindle. I didn't expect much. What I got was a clean cozy mystery that had more about the plot than the romantic interest. I chuckled a couple of times and enjoyed the read. I did figure out whodunit but it wasn't blatantly obvious in the first ten pages like many mysteries. Had fun with this one and am going to buy the next book. First of all, before I forget, the author described a place as being "a small little room" on page 150--which is rather redundant. This book is described as a Grace Holliday Mystery, which sounds as though there might be more coming. Grace has a job in a toy factory. It is a wonder that she can afford an apartment on the paltry salary she is paid. There must be about six murders or so among the people who are magicians or related to magicians. I found that I really didn't care who was getting bumped off. Some of it was very confusing, and other things were quite inventive. Murder light!
Loved this book, really enjoyed it, a bit slow in places but didn't impact the story at all
