This was my first Alexa Grace book. It had just the right amount of scary and creepy. There was enough to keep me interested, and wanting to know what was gonna happen! It seems like Jennifer just can't catch a break. She is almost constantly dealing with a horrible situation, and now a serial killer has taken up residence in her town. The peek into the killer's mind, seeing the story from his perspective, really added to this story. I get the heebie jeebies just thinking about it. I also thought it was kind of cool to know who the killer was before the end of the story. I'm definitely going to check out the other books in this series. The storyline was good but what could have been a great suspense/thriller got lost in the plot somewhere.Police persons are a close knit group which is portrayed well in this story. They are also a rough speaking lot but many readers do not care to read their foul language. There was way too much language and not enough strong action although the action it had was good.I won this through a Goodread's giveaway and appreciate the opportunity. It is a fairly good mystery if you can get past the profanity and sex scenes.
Each book in the series gets stronger. Looking forward to more by this author.
