3.5 starsI liked this one the best of the series. It's fun. I still don't care about Seth though. In fact, there's another character Aphra interacts with that is developed better than Seth and I thought as far as love interests go, she should go for him instead, but she doesn't. I read all three books in the series within a week and I felt like it was one book really. I was satisfied with the ending (other than the love interest...). I would recommend this to preteen or teen girls that want a quick spy or adventure book. The third book, (the last in the series?). You know how most series get boring and messy in the end? Not this one. This was a great series from beginning to end, the amount of suspense just increased by ever book. I lived along with the main characters Aphra and Seth, feeling all the emotion and pain that they had gone through. Not only was the series unique, but they also had a strong sense of reality to them. Even though all the things that happened in the book were extreme for real life, they could happen in our modern world; it would not be impossible. That's what I loved about this series. No matter how far away from reality they pulled sometimes, they always came back to reality. Linda Gerber is a great author and she did a fantastic job with this series. The 5 stars are not only for this book, but for the series in general."Death by Denim" continues the story of Aphra and Seth once again, but a whole different subject is brought up. Now both children attempt to live a normal life, though everybody knows that wouldn't happen. There is still The Mole and he is angrier than ever.I can't say that this book is the best in the series, but it definitely isn't the worst. All of the books are great and I would not be able to decide which one is my favorite, they all had their own touch and they all caught my attention. I read the first book (Death by Bikini) quite a long time ago, but when I found the other two books in the library I decided to read them right away. And in two days, two sittings, I finished the series. I can't believe how fast it went, time just flew by like nothing else mattered. It was great and just such an awesome experience reading this series. I actually think the books wouldn't do too bad if they were made into a movie. It could become a hit!I would recommend this book to anyone who likes suspense or romance, it has a balanced amount of both. People of all ages would enjoy this book, anywhere from 10 years old up. They just need to have the capability to read and then they would love the book. As I mentioned earlier, my mother is the one who introduced me to the series but I finished it before her. She is now almost finished with the second book and she enjoys it as much as I do. Don't hesitate to get this book if you think you are too young or old for it, you can at least give it a try. This is one of my all-time favorite books! Love it.
