Deep Blue Secret, Second Edition (2012) - Plot & Excerpts
Sadie is a very unusual teenager. She is having problem that she just can't explain but she tries to carry on no matter what. She loves the ocean and visits its shores when she's under stress. When she has one of those days, she has an accident on the slippery rocks and that's when a handsome stranger saves the day. But he disappears! How can she find him to thank him and return his hoodie?This was a very intriguing story and one that I read without stopping. The author did a great job with storyline and plot. Can't wait for the next one. This was free so I gave it a try. It's not a bad book but it's not really my taste at all. I made it to 60% before I finally called it quits. I guess I feel like at this far in the book "something" should have happened, I'm still trying to figure out why she's so special, which I'm sure comes out in later books. I couldn't connect with the characters, or the "romance" and I feel there could have been some sort of action at this point. I don't want to give it a bad rating bc it wasn't exactly my taste but it seemed to drag. Too much in her head, and in his eyes, and at one point I found myself rolling my eyes and saying "we get it, ur drawn to him, geez" I think a younger crowd will enjoy this more than someone like me.

Probably any 14 year old girl would really like this YA.
