This book was a really quick read and I'm happy I got to read it. It is an amazing story of a love that is real. Despite the whole soul mate connection Lucy still chooses Seth and I was so happy at the end when they said that they love each other. In my opinion that was the perfect ending to this book and I can't wait to read the next one!! This is a total must read and I recommend it to everyone who loves to read about love :)) Received for a honest review and it was a sweet fast read. The book centers on Lycy and Seth, both have lost so much. One is running from their problems, the other solves their problems with sex and cutting off any relationships.Lucy is a Rockstar who needs a break. She has experienced a lot of pain in the last few months from losing her dad who was her rock, to catching her soul mate cheating on her and stealing her private songs about her dad. So she runs to her hometown and best friend Jax. Seth is a painter whose life was shattered when his soulmate was killed in a car accident. He feels so much guilt over it and cuts off his feelings. He quit painting because he lost his inspiration the night she died. His solution is to have one night stands. He only let's a few people in and he is just fine with that. One night he goes to the bar to celebrate Jax's birthday. She warns him to leave her best friend alone because she doesn't want her too get hurt, she's been through enough. Jax gets Lucy to perform that night and Seth instantly is in awe of this girl. Sparks fly between the two of them and they can't deny it. As the story goes on you see they both are in turmoil of how they feel for each other. Their relationship is giving them strength, but is it destiny? This book was sweet, chemistry was good and the whole story line was believable. The only thing I didn't like was the whole soulmate destiny thing. It was different and it felt like there was some magic too it and everyone was suppose too follow that. I don't know! Other than that I really enjoyed the book.If you want a fast good read, read this. Lovely book about following your heart not always your destiny.
