I liked this book better than a lot of this set. Carlos is a werepanther whose family and entire village was murdered. He rescued 5? orphan kids from the village. He is hunting the world for other werepanthers to try to create a new family for these kids. He works for McKay S & I and we have seen him in previous books. He was Toni's neighbor (Ian's wife now) and she finds out in this book that he is not gay.The female protagonist is Shanna Whelan's younger sister. She has psychic powers too and can pick up any language just from hearing it. She comes to see Shanna and meet her family. Shanna tells her about vampires and offers her a job.The bad guy is a vampire who has slaves (human and vampire). He is not finally dealt with at the end of the book. Ms. Sparks did a great job, this book was amazing.I enjoyed it a lot and I couldn't stop reading it.The story line was well put together.This book is about Carlos Panterra and Caitlyn Whelan,yes a were-panther and Shanna's human sister. I didn'tknow what to make of it at first, I mean why it hadto be Shanna's sister. But afterwards, I started tolike her a lot, she's so bold and brave, good personality and kind. I like her so much more than Shanna. Carlos was so playful in this book and Iget to understand him more and more. I really getto like him. I wanted to see more interaction betweenCaitlyn and Carlos' adopted children.. Loved Coco!Shanna was very selfish in this book, only thinkingof her happiness and her family. That she told Caitlynto not fall in love with Carlos, just pissed me off.She wasn't supportive of their relationship at first. Loved Roman tho!This book was amazing, loved it. It's one of my favorite.

Caitlyn Whelan had very good cause to go see her sister that she has not seen is many years. She was surprised to find her sister was married with children. She was also surprised to see the most delectable man in the world. Carlos Panterra is so much more than she could have every dreamed of.This ride is presenting her with a chance of a life time. She learns more about a world she never knew existed.
