Dexter Por Decision Propia (2010) - Plot & Excerpts
Dexter by Design in the fourth book in the Dexter Morgan series and I do have to say that it extremely well written, but some components of the plot simply don't have to be there.I liked the main villain of this book and I'm always partial to Dexter's inner monologue, yet I found that the story went certain places that weren't really 100% necessary. It is, however, a nice addition to the series and though sometimes I felt that it didn't quite match up to the first two novels, it was extremely suspenseful as well as entertaining.I recommend this book to fans of the Dexter book and or television series, and people who love crime novels. I do not recommend this book to people who are picky when it comes to a tight consistent plot. I give Dexter by Design (4/5). Non lo so, mi sembra un enorme passo indietro rispetto al precedente libro. Ritroviamo il solito killer pazzo di Miami che si incazza con Dexter e fa di tutto per rovinarlo ma come sempre il nostro protagonista è stra-fortunato e ne esce pulito senza neanche molto impegno. Debra, uno dei miei personaggi preferiti, rimane in coma per mezzo libro e non c'è nessuna evoluzione circa Astor e Cody. E' stata una lettura noiosa e monotona che sa di già letto. Peccato.
