I don't know why or how but I always seem to fly through the Diary of a Wimpy Kid books and this one wasn't any different as I finished it in a day! These books are very light hearted and easy to read and even have me laughing out loud or smiling to myself whilst I read.Other than that I haven't really got anything else to say except these books are great to read even for adults and particularly for children. This one just didn't do it for me. I didn't laugh or even chuckle that much. The pig storyline was pretty ridiculous as was the whole vacation. Another problem I have is that the story takes place over a week so the "chapters" as pretty long compared to the other Wimpy Kid books, from what I remember. 40+ pages between chapters was too much. I am interested in seeing what kids think about this one, so far it is too new for most to have read it.
