Die Lügengesellschaft (2012) - Plot & Excerpts

Don't get me wrong, this was not a bad book. In fact, it flowed nicely, it had voice and oomph to the writing, and the pink hair? I was drawn in when I read the blurb and checked this thing out.But why did I return it unfinished? Now thinking about the mystery of Grace and why she was messaging when she was supposed to be dead, I don't know why I returned it early. It's was like the TV shows that I'd stop because I'd get busy and then I'd forget to continue and then return on the due date totally forgetting that I was hooked in the first place--which can't be a good sign. The thing is I don't know why. So I can't say I didn't like this book. I read quite a lot of it.It's like the bag of candy you don't finish because there are other bags of candy you want to start. Like (*guilty) Maximum Ride...So this is a to-be-continued book, you know, if I find it on a shelf again or if it appears in my radar. I'll pick it up and continue where I left off!(Would insert sad crying anime girl here but I'm on my mobile, WHOOPS.)I'm sorry guys.If you guys want a quick review from me about what I thought so far, I'd kind of take in the fact that I forgot about this book. I remember it being attractive, I just didn't remember it long enough to finish it.It had the oomph that was lost somewhere in there. (*sigh) THERESA, what kind of review is that....? The Liar Society by Lisa and Laura Roecker is about a girl named Kate Lowry. Kate is a sophomore at a private school called Pemberly Brown Academy. Her friend Grace died a year ago in a fire. The police said it was just a tragic accident, but Kate never believed it was. So when Kate received an email from Grace, Kate’s more than a little confused. The email read: “Kate, I’m here…sort of. Find Cameron. He knows. I shouldn’t be writing. Don’t tell. They’ll hurt you.” Now Kate has to prove that Grace was murdered and figure out who would to something like this. After having an altercation with Cameron, he soon goes missing, not before telling her what he saw that night at the chapel. Now that Cameron is gone, Kate is on her own with nothing but messages from Grace. Soon everyone at Pemberly Brown becomes a suspect and she realizes she can’t solve this murder by herself. She teams up with her next door neighbor, Seth and her crush, Liam. Time is running out…will they be able to solve this murder mystery without becoming the next victim?I was getting goosebumps while reading this book. Once I started reading the book, I didn’t want to put the book down. The book was that good. The book was filled with so much suspense and mystery and everyone in the story was hiding these big secrets. This book was just like Pretty Little Liars. After reading this book, it made me want to read the 2nd and 3rd book too.I recommend this book to any girl who likes mystery books. This book is filled with such suspense. Also if you are a girl who likes the show or book series “pretty little liars” then I think you would really like this book. It has to do with the same theme as the show and books. I feel the readers will be able to relate or connect to some of the characters in the book. This book is truly a “page-turning, pearl-clutching mystery!”

What do You think about Die Lügengesellschaft (2012)?

A little to young for me, but very interesting, I do believe I read this one back in high school.
