This book was ok. It didn't really grab my attention right away. I pretty much just kept reading to make sure Luke and Joy ended up together. Not sure if I'll even try to read the second book in the series (which I skipped because I realized I had this one already on my tablet and I wanted to see if it was better than the one about Caroline) . Really, really hoping that I like her new book as much as I liked Once Upon A Prince. I just did not care for this one :( and I LOVED the other books in this series. I just never saw a true relationship between Luke and Joy. It was just lust and all about kissing. The first kiss on TV and then the 2nd kiss on TV again was just too much. I rolled my eyes. It was just an unbelievable relationship. The kicker for me was when Luke actually got MAD at Joy during her worst moment when all along he KNEW the secret and decided to play along. Why was HE mad?? After 4 books in the row by this author I think I am going to take a break and then go back to her. One of my favorite authors but after this I got to take a wee break :) I highly recommend Sweet Caroline and Love Starts with Elle.
This was a fun, quick read. The food sounded yummy and the characters were pretty believable.
