Good Book! I am still debating whether or not it is as good as the other two but it's really good.The end was smooth and there were no cliff hangers, so I liked that.What I didn't like was Cal's death! However, I can see how he would be the one to sacrifice himself for the greater good because he was such a sweet guy.Archer's pretty cool. He felt sort of empty in this book but he was still a good character.Jenna is probably my favorite character! She seems so cute and....pink!I was completely expecting her parents to get back together, I am pretty sure everyone saw that. though I am glad it happened.The book never mentioned where the new council members came from so that was somewhat out-of-the-blue.The Brannicks being Sophie's family....that seemed like a necessary twist, the sort of forbidden romances in paranormal books. Her mother's family hates prodigium and her father happens to be prodigium. Elodie! I actually grew to like her in this book. She was very helpful (except for that time with Cal) and I hope that, in any way, she can be Cal's ghost girlfriend or something, because the way her character developed into this I-am-actually-softening-up-to-you-but-i'm-still-gonna-be-a-jerk-so-you-don't-know-it character. She really became a better person than she was in the first book. She is now a good-hearted-enough character that I think she deserves Cal, and I don't think Cal should be lonely for all eternity either.So is the Casnoff line dead now? I wasn't sure about that. The island/pit thingy swallowed the two women....and then? It was mentioned that Mrs. Casnoff was married. I wonder if she had any kids!So anyway, if you have yet to read this book, then I hope you enjoy it.If you already read this book, then I have spoiled nothing and I hope you also enjoyed this book.Maybe some of you agree with some of my opinions :) I really enjoyed reading this series. This was the final book in the Hex Hall series. This book wrapped up everything for the series and there was a lot of action. I am not totally happy with the ending personally. I really like a particular male character and was rooting for him in his part of the small love triangle. However, the book didn't take the path to him that I had hoped it would. Not only that but certain events in the ending were so much worse than him just not getting the girl! Other than that this was an enjoyable book in a very cute series.
