This book was a fun mystery involving a doggy day care. Okay, the murder aspect wasn't fun, but Melanie Travis' crime-solving skills were enjoyable. I'm particularly happy that the book wasn't predictable, because sometimes prolific authors fall into a pattern. I didn't find that to be the case here. I recommend this to dog lovers that enjoy a good mystery. Time spent with Melanie and friends and family is time well-spent. Another good mystery for dog lovers. melanie Travis is a poodle fancier and exhibitor who also has a knack for solving mysteries. In this one, she is dragged in by her friend, Alice to find a good day time dog day care center. when Melanie checks out one, soon one of the co-owners is found dead. A good read, fast and easy, and enjoyable for dog lovers. I loved the 18 year old Wirehaired Dachshund, Nathan who was at the center since that is my breed. Aunt Peg, Melanie's aunt is a hoot.
