I read Dom Up because it sounded like a very interesting take on a Dom/Alpha Male. The synopsis of the book hooked me in, and I was glad to find that this book was as intriguing as it sounded. Devlin Black is a deliciously dark Dom who is hit with a case of baby fever. He's had a pretty rough ride up until this point, but he's ready to find the one and have a family. I have to say that I loved reading his character. He was dark, talked dirty, and was extremely crass. But he also had a heart longing for something more, and that just shined through.Through Dom Up, you come to find that Devlin can't get his mind off of a certain someone he met almost 2 years before. She's stuck in his mind. That certain someone is Victoria, and she is a gem of a character. This book is told in both character's perspectives and it was fantastic to get to see both sides of their stories. These perspectives also just explained so much about both of their thoughts and actions.Victoria had a night to remember with Devlin that truly left a lasting impression. Through Dom Up you slowly find out more about her and Devlin and how they came together and ultimately split paths. Reading how their two paths come together again made for a seriously engaging story that I couldn't stop reading. Both of these characters have their trepidations about the other, and this story takes some crazy twists and turns you don't see coming. It also ends in one helluva cliffhanger that will leave you dying for the next book. The feelings and emotions between Victoria and Devlin spark off the page, and this book will take you on one fantastic ride while you figure out what in the world is going on between them. This book just hit it out of the park for me, and I loved every word of it!! This book was a erotic romance not dark like her other books have been. This book was a bit short but it flowed nicely. It was told by both POV's you got to know what and how the characters were thinking and feeling. It was hot in some scenes and just plain frustrated in others but all in all it was a good story. You can't go wrong with this one. It had secrets, lies, love, passion. all wrapped in one.More on my blog!!! :)
