The author fucked up, I think. If she intended for me to love the couple of Jack and Jan, she fucked up so hard. I want Gray. I need Gray. He's...everything, and my entire focus through all of these books. Don't get me wrong, I adore Jack. I love Jan. But... Gray. He's perfect, in all his fuckery, and I need about 20 or more books focused on him, please. I've read this series, non stop, twice, in full, in the last two days. I'm hooked. On Gray, on the passion, on the hurt and mind-fucking and love.... And on Gray. Did I mention that? Superb. Outstanding. Fantastic. I love you. A very intricately woven plot. This book takes huge amounts of concentration to even begin to be able to follow what is going on, well that was my experience anyway.I love a dark story with mystery and suspense, but hate it being so overly done for 3/4 of the book I have no clue wtf is going on and have to constantly back track to see if I have missed something.I didn't find the story as dark as I thought it would be, but then I like dark. However there was just too much going on for me to be able to fully enjoy any aspect of the plot. Business dealings, constant talk of garages and cars, mental disorders ODD & OCD, knife play, subs and doms, contracts, threats, etc etc. I liked the kinky sex and character building, and the story was well edited.
What do You think about Don't... (2012)?
Deeply dark - but a great gut wrenching love story/thriller. Fantastic read!
