Such a strong start! The kitchen scene in the beginning deserved 5 full stars just for writing and characterization, but the story felt a little rushed later on and the ending felt slightly unfinished, as if the author ran out of time. It didn't need more *plot* per se, but what happened in the end could have done with a little more fleshing out. Still, 4 full stars for quirky characters, good writing, lots of showing, and no external or internal monologuing to explain ALL the feelings (yes, I'm a sucker for having to fill in the gaps). No kitten bonus included. Liked it even though it had cats.No feline friend here. But the story is a cute college tale with a morning after kitchen meet-up that turns into more. Slow burn with an enthusiastic near virgin and the grad student fool who lets him learn on his ass. Entertaining and enough disjointed trajectory of thoughts and actions to give a true young adult feel. Probably a higher score for kittens lovers.

Cute story with a great start and a what rushed ending that didn't completely made sense.

It was a cute little story, but with an abrupt ending.
