This book was alright. I was dissappointed by how informal and rushed everything was written out. I guess if I want and indepth expierience of past queens and historic information I'm going to have to get a 500 page bok on each queen. I feel like this book was more directed to Middle School/Junior High students, it was a quick easy read and that made it a bit difficult to read and get into. Great information and a great introduction to the subjet though. If you are super serious about accurate and detailed historical non-fiction, then this book is not for you. HOWEVER, if you love juicy gossip about historical royal women, this is the book for you! This isn't your typical Disney Princess tale! The stories were based on gathered facts and rumors. Where there was a question of accuracy, then usually the more dramatic version was listed. The author does warn you in the very beginning, so don't get mad when you read something that you think is false.I quite enjoyed this book and it has made me a little curious to know more about each of the "doomed queens". The stories were very short which made it a nice, fast read. You should pick it up and read it!
