He’d never been to his wife’s place of work before, and while she was always talking about it, and the wonders within, he hadn’t visualised it being so huge. And she could tell by his face that he had enjoyed every minute of it. ‘I’ll go straight in, Mr Robert, otherwise Aggie will have me guts for garters being late on me first day back.’ She looked nervous as she glanced at her husband. ‘Will my Alf be all right if I leave him with yer?’ ‘Of course he will, Kitty, I’ll take good care of him.
