Every now and then, I read a section of a book that I find particularly poignant. In this book, the author manages to create an outstanding scene where two people meet for the first time and, due to a mystical connection, they both experience real, true, and lasting "love at first sight". To be honest, I'm quite jealous as I want something like this in one of my own novels, and if I manage to write something half as good, I will consider myself quite satisfied.The book is young-adult/new-adult paranormal-chick-lit with a side of paranormal mystery. If that's the kind of thing that interests you, then you should definitely give this book a try. DNF at 52%I hate, HATE not finishing books. I tried so hard to get into this book and just couldn't get even remotely interested in it. The writing style of this book is jagged and doesn't flow or feel natural. The author wrote this book so that the main character is speaking to the reader, leaving little dialogue and a main character that over analyzes every little detail. Sara, the main character is whiny and comes off as a know-it-all, when it comes to what the other characters are feeling. I was really excited about the idea behind this book, but there ended up being absolutely nothing worth substance. *I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinions*
