I love a good time travel novel and I like what I have read of Leigh so far and so I jumped on this book. It was tough to read but quickly turned fun, as the main character is not doing well and I hated the prologue they give at the beginning but I had trust this would end well:} It was a adventure and well written. I had no trouble keeping up with everything happening and all the names and places and people. These books are adult no bedroom scene romance novels. Dreamspell is time travel romance at its best! Characters that have depth, that learn, and grow, and that we want to know more fully. Dialogue that is accurate, natural for the time period, and entertaining. A story that is complicated, but not confusing, and brilliant in both it's explanation of the how and why and the shifting of history as Mac and Nedy make their marks on the 13th century. There are no plot holes--no eye rolling moments. Every i is dotted. Every book worthy of 5 stars calls you back to it, or doesn't let you put it down. This was a book I couldn't wait to get back to, and I stayed up late to finish. AND there are plenty of romantic sparks while still being pristinely clean. Wish there more books out there of this caliber.
