Dressing Your Truth: Discover Your Personal Beauty Profile (2010) - Plot & Excerpts
I am reviewing the book, not the "dressing your truth" program. This book is 75% infomercial to sell the course. It irritated me that there was so much time spent encouraging the reader to go to her website and purchase the program. There was also a lot of repetition. By the time I was done, I was ready to be done. That being said, it was interesting to read the parts that discuss each of the 4 profiles. The parts that I wanted to read and learn about could have been covered in a pamphlet, though. I really like her definitions of beauty and seeing yourself and others in your "type" can really change the way you perceive how and why people do the things they do. I would have given this a higher rating, BUT it doesn't give you the "now that you know your type of beauty, this is what you do about it". It is a good starting point, but to really "dress your truth" you need to do more research and possibly pay for the course online. I do really like what she has to say about people and their personalities and how everyone is beautiful and has true beauty in them.

Recommended by my life couch aunt. Amazing that I'm type 1 when I feel like type 2.
