We get short conversations between two unnamed friends sitting having a pint and chatting in a Dublin pub.Great fun to read and although it is a slim volume I don't doubt I'll be picking it up every so often just to read another few pages again.The language is what you would expect to hear in a working (or unemployed?) class Dublin pub - profane in the extreme. No topic and no subject is off limits. If you're offended by the idea of someone emailing the pope to tell him to f**k off then it probably isn't for you.If you like the idea of what the pope might reply then you'll love it Un libro carino e divertente se si vogliono passareun paio d’ore spensierate.Ma nulla di più.E’ il dialogo quotidiano tra due amici irlandesi chesi ritrovano davanti ad una birra al bar e parlano ditutto ciò che accade in quei momenti in Irlanda e nel mondo.Per i non irlandesi forse è un po’ difficile da seguire,infatti molte cose non le sapevo proprio, per altre sapevo qualcosa tramite i telegiornali ma da qui afarne un libro il passo è un po’ troppo azzardato secondo me. Mi ha ricordato vagamente alcuni personaggi dicabaret che si siedono su una panchina a raccontarsii fatti quotidiani mettendo qua e là dell’ironia e delle battute che vorrebbero far ridere.
