I love Cindy's Laurel McKay character, she is so believable and klutzy that it is relatable, I love the humor that Cindy includes in her writing and that every time Laurel turns around she has stepped into more trouble. Every time I start a Laurel McKay mystery it get pulled in immediately and don't want to put it down. I aspire to right characters as memorable and believable as these. Now I have to get Dying for a Dude! Romance and mystery in paradise -- I'll toast that!Mortgage banker Laurel McKay finds herself in the middle of another murder investigation when she visits Hawaii for a wedding. Trying to keep friends, family and herself out of harm's way...and out of jail...proves more difficult than counting calories in paradise. This is my favorite book of the light-hearted mystery series, and a great way to escape the winter blues or to take on your next beach vacation. If you like Evanovich's Stephanie Plum series, give Sample's unlikely sleuth and her suitors a try.
What do You think about Dying For A Daiquiri (2013)?
This was my favorite Laurel McKay book so far. Hoping there are more to come.
