Very enjoyable story, and I really liked Charles a lot, he's a huge improvement over Coop. The reason for Charles' behavior when he & Yancy first start working together is kinda adorable in an elementary school way, as is his taste in movies! It's completely understandable why Yancy would want to proceed slowly with a new relationship, especially as regards him meeting Carolena. I'm also glad that fear of Coop's actions doesn't cause Yancy to do something stupid and cause problems in her relationship with Charles - her honesty with him allows him to nudge her out of her panic when necessary. If we're able to purchase these for our library I'll definitely be recommending them to readers who've enjoyed other contemporary romance authors. Yancy and Charles are destined to be together but you would never know it because they have a hate to love relationship. Yancy is a divorced single mother of a beautiful baby girl and a dead beat ex husband. Charles is a smart and sexy co-worker who treats Yancy badly because he is attracted to her. Things start to heat up and their is no looking back and it is a great romantically fun ride. I really like this series!
