I was a little disappointed in this one. It wasn't as good as the first book, but second books in a series seldom are. There was an ocean of angst. And frankly, I'm not sure she made the right choice. Maybe the third installment will convince me. The virus is continuing in it's destruction of the world. When Earthborns die, their creations die with them, like, Death Valley and The Andes Mountains. Oh, and the Earthborns think humans are like ants because they're gods. It was entertaining! I don't know I don't know I don't KNOW! Some parts had me drooling for more, some left me bored; some made me go WOW WOW WOOOW WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT, and some just made me go 'meh'. The beginning was kind of slow, and there were some bits that I really didn't enjoy, like when they so plainly said Tavia was 'the most powerful Earthbound in the world' - I mean come on, at least try to dress it up a little! But it really did pick up at the end, what with all the intertwining stories, the action, the suspense, the CHOICE! So yeah... 3 stars.
What do You think about Earthquake (2014)?
ARC from netgalleyLittle slow at first but some great action and revelations toward the end!

Not what I'd hoped. This book had the potential to be amazing and it really, really wasn't.

YA paranormal, with cool cover. Insides not as good as cover. Part of a series.

An easy read which doesn't require much thinking. A good book for the holidays.
