This hasn't been my favourite of the series enough it had its moments. If 1/2 stars were possible it would score at 3.5.Part of the difficulty is the final denouncement did, as others have commented, a certain Scooby-Doo feel to its final pages which let down the build-up. Still I am very fond of his overall style and the characters of Jessica and Kevin. I consider it a bit of a blip and hopefully if they do return it will be with a stronger plot. I was excited to read this book, having enjoyed the other books in the series. This book felt a bit more like a whodunnit (with a Scooby Doo style reveal) but that's ok as the story is smart and there is a lot of good character development of Jessica and Kevin as this story involves Kevin's first case. All in all a good book... It's not the best in the series, in my opinion, but it's a solid read.
bit too bloody and grusome....but all in all well written and thrilling till the end!!

Kept me turning the pages as quickly as I could. Unexpected and surprising.
