This story was very short, and it had a huge cliffhanger....with that being said,it is written in a non-first person point of view, which is not particularly something that I enjoy.The story was decent, it is about a paramedic who falls for a firefighterthe firefighter is actually an undercover FBI agentthe first book has no sex.... :(and the paramedic's ex-husband is a crooked cop, who the FBI is investigating.The two stories combined aren't to bad, but the separation of them kind of sucks, and is misleading.I don't know if I would read this again if I knew better.Not terrible though by any means. I had a hard time with this book...the story line was really good but the writing just wasn't for me. Was way to rushed and some of the dialog was just to much...I finished it but was hard...It wasn't bad just wasn't for me...I tried to see if the second book would be better but I just could get into it...especially the time one of the characters was in the hospital...that whole scene was what finished the book for me....others may like the series but was not one for me
Just what I was hoping for. A good mystery with little romance mixed in.
