I am not politically savvy - in any way really. But here I mean that I don't have any clear understanding of how the White House ( and politics in general) are managed. The nuts and bolts and day to day stuff. So this was interesting for the small look into that part of a job in the White House. And I like the 3 voices of the book. Of course it is fiction, and probably not as convoluted and dirty as politics are in real life, but still it kept me interested. As a former political staffer and huge The West Wing fan I was excited to see the premise of this book. I was however disappointed to find it difficult to get into the flow of the novel with the three rotating pov's and the cliché moments. Half the purpose of multiple pov's is to allow the reader insights other characters don't have but I feel like it failed to do this. Political detail was largely glossed over for plot tangents that were non starters. This book wasn't bad but it was far from what I hoped.
Good, empowering book for women right up until the end. the end was awful and unrealistic.

Sometimes you need an easy read...not much substance. Still worth my time.

Light book, easy and fast to read. Not a serious book.
