This book is more or less the carbon copy of the biography of Steve Jobs. Some of the citations in the book seem to have been taken out directly from 'Steve Jobs'. The author, who is the former Vice President of Apple, has mainly given an overview of his encounters and experiences with Steve Jobs. Some of the extravagant business deals that Steve Jobs pulled off, while in charge of Apple are given prominence and brought into light. Steve Jobs was a very result oriented man. He gave importance to the engineering dimensions of a product rather than the design principles followed to groom a iProduct. As per the insight provided by Jay Elliot, Jobs had an inevitable knack of convincing business partners into a deal. He was not easy to please. A complete characteristic man oeuvre comprised Jobs's leadership ethics and principles. He never overlooked the flaws in the different working environments at Apple. An authentic outlook of iLeadership leading to development of an organisation called Apple relives the punk of that era. A shorter version of 'Steve Jobs'. Read it to get an idea of yesteryear leadership traits at Apple. An average read! Great read, loved even more it was written by someone who worked beside Steve and not an outsider. Very much explained the thought process going through the mind of Steve as changes were made both at Apple and in the market place. When reading this it's easy to understand why Apple has such a big amount of success with only 10% of the market. What I also loved about this is seeing where it applied in where I work and what we are doing as a company. Highly encourage those that are looking for a change in their company and also in their way of thinking to grab a copy of this.
