I am not a big fan of an author basically writing 1 book and then dividing it into 3 and publishing it as 3 separate books. Something that short really should only be labeled a novella and it is a bit of a rip.Luckily for this author, I don't rate books on their length (even if I think it is cheating). I rate them on quality and I did, very much, enjoy this book / novella. It does make me cringe that I am now going to buy the next two NOVELLAs.I imagine somewhere down the line, the author might re-connect the novellas and publish it as a novel. Very romantic and at time funny book. This one had me thinking sweet little hearts all over the place. The characters where very well done and almost instantly I felt a connection with them. There was a slow build for the two as the circled around each other but afraid of the consequences to their budding romance. I've read alot of age gap and son with father's best friend but this one is the best one that I've read. I loved Copper's response to Ryan flipping out.Tom and Copper make a great couple with enough of the same passions to make them a believable couple outside of the bedroom. I love the playing they do about the age difference and cute little moment of humor into their relationship. I really look forward to more of this series.
Sweet homo-erotic prosa!
