On the other were several logs where the cousins would sit when they came with him and he shared stories of their family. She was not surprised when Nick led her to the bench and sat down. When she moved to sit beside him, he pulled her so she landed on his lap. He swung her feet so they rested on the bench beside his hips and she sat across his thighs. When she squirmed to escape, he wrapped one arm around her back. His other hand slid between her thighs to hold her in place. “Shhh, Emerald mine.
