What do You think about Emily Windsnap And The Castle In The Mist (2007)?
Big drop in rating with this one. I found it very bad in comparison to the first two that were written. Emily is constantly worrying about her parents and whether they love each other and consequently, if they still love her. This got very annoying and helped ruin the book. The worst part was the annoying element of magical coincidences. Yes, that is what makes it a children's book series, but come on! All these things need to happen for the ring to be found, and the conditions only happen about once every 500 years and Emily just so happens to be there the ONE NIGHT that it is possible!? Give me a break fish girl.In another review, I mentioned how much I dislike Neptune. I must point out again how irritating he is. He changes his mind on a whim! No for intermarriages! Yes for intermarriages! No! YEEESSSS Love for AAAALLLLL!!! Makes me want to rip starfish apart

I would really give this book a 10 star rate ! This is a really awesome book ! It's not really that tomboyish and not too girly stuff. As i was reading i made a text - to - self connection, since this book was about mermaids, it reminded me of a show on Nick called : H20 which is also about mermaids & Emma the long blond-brownish hair one that controls ice power is my FAVE !! also one of my favorite parts about the book is when Shona and Emily were gathering materials and stuffs for their presentations to show Neptune what they created since he lost his whole entire collection of treasure and jewels. i made a prediction that Emily has some sort of feelings for Aaron, because in the book, they were kinda like in a more close relationship which is like more than a friends relationship !!! :) I still can't believe that Neptune forgave Beeston!!! he's also one of the reason why Mary forgot about her husband !!! If i was the author i would make Shone have permission to with Emily & travel the world together ! (because Shona is my favorite character :D) This book is acutally for girls, but boys can read it too (if they want to) and it's cool and it's not really that girly (- to me :D) so DEFINETELY READ THIS BOOK, I REALLY REALLY RECOMMEND IT !! i CANNOT WAIT TO READ THE OTHER SERIES THE AUTHOR : Liz Kessler : Philippa Fisher's Fairy God SISTER !! :D
