I was enamored with this book from the minute I read the description. Two soulmates?! WHHAT!? This whole book I was looking for little clues and reasons why neither of them should be with her. I feel so torn however I'm not so much concerned with who she is choosing but whether or not she is even going to choose one of these hunks. I can tell you right now my hormones would be making it "all sorts of difficult." I am interested to see if the Goddesses make a bigger appearance or play a more active role in the next few books. Evie has to be something special with everything that she can do...(and just so you know the next book gets way crazier.) I love that this book is original in its story line. Obviously authors have played on the whole soul mate thing but this world is anything but your everyday other half mating ritual. Its beautiful, charming, suspenseful and to be honest, really confusing. I want Emil to be the love of her life but Alex has been there through everything and loves her so much, he feelings are obviously mutual. AHHH what is she going to do? I immediately bought the second book, yes I found myself skipping over some of the authors mundane scene descriptions but other then that, I loved this book. Evie. Evie, Evie, Evie. You are not the most frustrating character I've run across, but boy are you annoying. If the author didn't explain two guys being interested in you because you're their potential soul-mate, I would have really hated all the insta-love. Actually, I still kind of resent it.Anyhow, not a lot of action, not enough explanation. Not really any romance, not a lot of humor, but a big heaping helping of mystery.
