I will start with that I really liked the story and am enjoying the series. It showed just how much the ton thinks of themselves and not of others, it is always about me. The two main characters are selfless to the point of OVERKILL on the part of doing it for the other one. I would gloss over the "I have to do this for him/her" parts since it seemed to be just word count filler. Shows that people can change for the better and all is not what is seems. A really good read. I did really love the characters and the witty dialogue in this book. Keating is a wonderful character. So humorously dark. I liked them so well that i would have liked a longer character development arc on both of them-- more about what made him so wild when he was younger and more depth to her growth from wretched innocent cast onto the streets to her current independence. It was hard to take Fenton seriously, and it was hard to believe that Camille would ever have seriously considered marrying him once she began falling in love with Keating. The plot was weak as is so frequently the case. I think plot is what divides great books in the genre with simply good ones.
2.5. So far I'm not into This series. I find the characters very unlikable. Especially the women.
