I thought that I'd find this book really lame, but wanted to read it anyway, because YA christmas stories make me smile, always. But actually, I thought it was pretty well done. I loved the character of Beau and his background was touching and realistic. The whole teens in high school hierarchy side was honest, and I was really happy that Lila walked away from it in the end.The whole roadship made me laugh a lot-you could feel what was going on for Beau and Lila through the words, which made it great. It's a quick, easy holiday based read, and I'd actually recommend it. This book chronicles a road trip that takes place between Lila and her ex-boyfriend. The plot is anything but obvious. Especially once Lila's little brother turns up missing...The characters in this book are very relatable. I soon found myself thinking back on my own ex-boyfriends and if I could have survived such a trip. Each chapter had me on the edge of my seat. I found myself staying up late saying, "Okay, just ONE more chapter!" I simply could not get enough of this book. In fact, I wanted to start re-reading it the day after I finished it. What a great read!
