Ok so I gave this book a chance after tirelessly searching for something good to read. Reviews were good so I gave it a go.And it was pretty good. The prose was decent and It really sucked me right into story which rarely happens to me so I love it for that. But what I really found little irritating was its similarity to Twilight which ruined its 5 star review. Although it was better than twilight but still while reading it I felt like I was reading an AU fanfiction of twilight. The ending was sweet but totally unbelievable to me. So I would say people who love Twilight will love this one but the people who have outgrown twilight, like me, will find it a bit off putting.Anyways good writing style for a beginner. I was gifted this book for an honest review This was an awesome book that had me hooked from the beginning. I wanted to read more about Eris and know more about her family. There are times where you feel the emotion coming from Eris. She has a great passion for being in the woods and her family. Its heart breaking when she is separated from her family and to think that she’ll never be able to go home will pull on your heart strings.Eris felt like she was being watch while she was hunting, but she thought it could have been lack of sleep or her mind playing tricks on her. Little did she know that she was right! Defending the village from the Nightwalkers was a family honor and she was more than happy to do it. She was only days away from her betrothal, which she was dreading. The day had come and the announcement was made. Little did Eris know everything was about to change for the rest of her life. She would have to fight for her family and the one that she loved for peace.Looking forward to reading more books from Eden Fierce!! Review by Lindsey Poage Norwood reviewer for MNP
