I have wish Goodreads had half stars!! This was a 4.5 star read for me! I loved Tatum's personality and how it shined throughout the story despite her terrifying diagnosis. Ben was a dream and I fell in love with him right alongside Tate. Together, they made the story so much more!! I was worried that this was going to be a cliff hanger and then became excited for a book two! Too bad it wasn't. Lol. Loved everything about this!! I was really eager to read this book because of the subject matter but now that I've just read it, I have to admit that it was a tad bit boring and it dragged. I was expecting to read a story about someone dealing with their blindness but she barely had any visual difficulties except for occasionally bumping into things. She had most of her sight throughout the entire book. I would have preferred if this book started with her already losing most of her sight because I wanted to see how she transitioned into that new lifestyle. While Tatum was a funny character, I found her to be so juvenile sometimes. She was always so quick to throw a tantrum or jump to conclusions that she was becoming less and less of a likable character for me. I didn't like how she was so unprofessional with Ben from the start. I get that she was sexually frustrated but c'mon! How was I suppose to believe that she was a business lady if she couldn't even keep herself in check for one day upon Ben's hire. Who hires someone without knowing the persons history? She clearly didn't even ask for ID if Ben was able to work under a different alias. After finding out about Ben's big secret, it really just made him seem like some stalker dude. His character was too mysterious for majority of the book so I just couldn't connect with him. That whole Kurt thing was weird, I thought something more would have progressed with his story line but it just ended with that assault. I thought he was going to show up again later on and be really violent but unfortunately that wasn't the case. Overall, I enjoyed the banter between Tatum, Cooper and Winnie and sometimes Tatum's inner thoughts were hilarious. Also, my online copy of the book was filled with so many spelling mistakes. I'm not sure if the hard copy has spelling errors as well but I thought I would just mention it anyways.
What do You think about Fade In (2014)?
FADE IN was interesting. It had a lot more depth than what might be expected.

Great book! I cried through most of the last 1/3 of the book!
