I enjoyed the fact that this book isnt just about some silly girl with no real problems like a lot of books these days. The hints about Meghans background are revealed in a way where you get enough information to keep you intrigued but not so much that you predict the end. Meghans life has been far from ordinary and she doesn't quite know how unique she really is. But on her quest for answers she just finds more and more questions. Is she really crazy or are there things out there to really be afraid of? Is she somehow important to it all? For a YA novel, I think it was a pretty decent introduction to Fae novels. It was not terribly deep or plot driven, or anytjing driven as far as I could really tell, lagging in a few spots. It did leave just enough interest that I would probably read the next book in the series if I got a good deal on it. I most likely wouldn't pay list price for it though, because I am a cheapskate and I didn't love it.
Just really poorly written. Maybe the next ones get better, but I can't handle it.
