It was a pretty good book. You could say that it was slower paced, but it was okay. I had me laughing at some points. I like the story line, but I mostly liked the humor. I love how Jenniffer Wardell once again made a differnt Cinderella story. Yet in this story, Cinderella(aka Rellie), was a minor character. Jon reminded me of Tessa from The Infernal Devices series. I think Kate is pretty cool also. I liked this book. I first read a part of it as a fanfiction but never finished it. I am so glad I did. It is a funny, refreshing take on the Cinderella story. All of the characters are great. I think I liked Rupert the most since he made me laugh the most. I also liked Lawton. The main characters are awesome too but those two just add a great comedic quality to the book. I loved the idea of their being a company FGI and all the little quips at existing fairy tales and adventure stories. Rapunzel and Robin Hood are just examples of the few mentioned in passing. I love the concept of this world and hopefully Jenniffer Wardell sets up her upcoming book "Beast Charming" in the same world. It would be so fun to dive into once again. The only reason I am rating it 3.5 stars is that the plot was a little slow for my taste. I often found myself rereading lines because I skimmed over them so often. However, it definitely picks up after the 55% mark where it becomes a whole lot more interesting.
What do You think about Fairy Godmothers, Inc. (2013)?
4.5 stars. This was such a fun read! I loved the whole take on fairy tales and laughed many times!
