I was recommended the Puma Nights series through someone who loves shifter PNR about as much as I do. I read the first book, Falke’s Peak yesterday and… Mehh… It just really didn’t do it for me, it was just OK, you know what I mean. The story was just ok enough for me to keep reading, but I had no connection to the characters. I don’t think I will continue the series. I wish I liked it more I know many love this series. 2hrs into the book and the narrator's voice doesn't quite fit the story. I actually had to look her up because she sounded like the woman who narrates the Twilight books. What's up with publishers choosing narrators with little girl voices for these very grown woman books?WOW, I really wasn't expecting this. I thought I was getting a shifter paranormal romance, but alas it's an erotic romance. I guess I should read the synopsis and reviews before jumping feet first into a book. The story was just ok. There was no conflict at all other than the internal thoughts of the M/M/FStory - 2.5narrator - 2
