I have read and listened to the audio of this book, my review will reflect the audio as well.Sharon writes wonderful action stories that keep you on the edge of your seats with your mouth hung open saying NO WAY. She puts humor, laughter along with wonderful passion and love into her stories. You have a seal that is use to taking and being in control only to find he doesn’t need to be take over all the time. Cooper is so strong but at the same time looses so much that it makes him human. Wanting to get back into action but knowing that isn’t where he needs to be. Along comes Libby who is beautiful, smart and loving. She is strong but weak who is going through a trying time herself. Add a father who is under presser with all that is going on in his life and a mad man out to bring the family down you have one hot read. Cooper tries his best to walk away but you just don’t leave one behind, with Libby’s uncle being a lost seal they are family. Cooper and his team will do what needs to be done to keep one of their own safe. The book on its own is an outstanding read but when you put JD Hart’s voice with it, the story comes to life. JD bring many wonderful different voices to the wonderful characters, he makes you feel the laughter, sadness, hope, need, pain, and passion as he spins the tell Sharon writes. Together the author and narrator keep you on the edge of your seat with a story you do not want to put down. This story will break your heart and you want to reach out to each character bring them in your arms for a warm hug, giving them your warmth why telling them it will all work out. It is an audio that you will want to listen to or read again and again. You will want to go buy the rest of the series to find out what the author has in store for you. This is the second military book of Sharon Hamilton's that I have read. The brotherhood in this series continues ever so evident, which is truly heartening! I love the detail into the characters that she gives us. This book delves into the heartache that a Seal overcomes when his whole family is killed by a tornado. Each and every Seal is trained in the manner of not showing emotion and in her book Sharon gives us that training but a glimpse of something more as well. Everyone knows how strong and tough a Seal is but also what and who can bring them to their knees, a woman. I love that Libby was a strong character in this story and fought mentally through many tragedies in her life as well. Can the two find each other through the heartache and learn to love? Buy this book now and read for yourself!I can't wait to read the next book in the series! You won't want to miss the chance to read this series and the amazing Seals and the strong women they grow to love.
What do You think about Fallen SEAL Legacy (2012)?
I enjoyed this book. The characters are likeable and the plot is both humorous and unpredictable.
