I love Pam Ann Books and his one did not fail me.. I completely enjoyed the fun, sexy and dramatic story.... Billionaire, BAD BOY, Callum Kensington is asked to come see his dying childhood best friend, Richard Von Berg. When he arrives and speaks to his friend, he has the shock of his life. Richard asks him one request, to secretly marry and Protect his sister, Stella Von Berg 18yrs at the time(a virgin) until the age of 26 years old. Because she will inherit an empire and doesn't want just anyone coming after her. Little Does Callum Know that she has had a crush on him since she met him when she was 13. However with the age difference of course he did not even take notice. Now at the age 18 she is definitely one to notice and Callum does notice. Callum does not believe in relationships, he was burned by his gf from hs - who married his father and he has not spoken to either in over 3 years. It crushed Callum and destroyed his belief in love, marriage and the HEA... now Stella at 21 has moved to London to start a new life. She has only seen Callum a couple times since their ceremony; however, he must see her now that he needs a favor from her. Callum's family has picked a wife for him and has requested him to come home, he advised he has a fiancé' and they of course want to meet her immediately. The story as time goes on has many twist and dramatic events that take place - just a only Pamela Ann can achieve... and of course Callum and Stella's desire for one another becomes harder and harder to deny or run from (as much a Callum would like to run!) Stella challenges Callum in ways he as never been challenged before as well as he challenges her. They both make demands ... Then right when you think they might get their HEA and Callum is finding he might be able to love.... his father passes away, leaving his one true love from a long time ago a free woman once again.... I won't tell anymore - spoil anything for those to read.. it is a fun, easy read with many dramatic events, sexual tension as well as HOT and steamy sex scenes... I really enjoyed this story for its complimentary characters and unique premise... however, I was slightly confused with the execution. It just seemed that the pacing was off. One moment we're actually in the moment with the characters and the next we're fast-forwarded to something else. I found myself more than enough times to notice, having to go back and re-read what I just read to see if I was missing something. It lacked the fluidity from scene to scene, which made it hard to keep track of the set-up and characters, which was a bit of a distraction for my overall experience. I also had a bit of a problem with the leading man himself. Callum was the ulitmate in Alpha, but he was also the ultimate in undecided, which I could understand initially given what he went through, but he really started to rub me the wrong way when he refused to be anything other than ignorant. His inner thoughts were a complete contradiction to what he would verbalize and that just made him the most confusing, Alpha character I've ever read. Now Stella I will say was somewhat refreshing in how she grew into her own throughout the story and most especially throughout her roller-coaster experience with Callum. She became stronger and many times went head-to-head with him and stood her ground, but also didn't react poorly like he would've. She did the right thing by him so many times, that it was fairly easy to see this is one case in which I believed the hero really didn't deserve the heroine. Nevertheless, their couplings were hotter than hot. It was the one place where they both really submitted themselves and spoke their truths using their bodies since they were both verbally stubborn to say how they really felt.Having said all of that... I really liked the various character dynamics and the posh world they live in. There was depth in both Callum and Stella's histories that added to the storyline nicely and kept it comfortably predictable. I will definitely be checking out more in this series as well as other stories by this author.
What do You think about Falling For My Husband (2000)?
I am totally loving this book. It is making up for the few bad ones I had read recently.

Not for me. The book is well written. I just didn't gel with the voice.
