I hadn't heard of Falling for Nick until I came across it in a freebie status on FB, so I read the blurb, thought it would be a good read and got it. I picked it out late last night and started it. I finished it about an hour ago. I couldn't put it down. I fell in love with Nick from the moment he showed up at the cemetery even though I knew nothing about him yet. finding out he had just gotten out of prison and that there were things that were being kept "secret" about what happened and why he was in prison, I knew that something was amiss. I was getting angry with Clea for holding back her feelings for Nick and pretending Robert was what she needed, when clearly, she was not over Nick. but I am happy that she opened her eyes and did right by Nick and he son John. I got this as a free book on.amazon. I am so glad that I did. The book grabbed me in the first chapter and wouldn't let go. I read this in one setting. I felt so badly for Nick. His childhood was a mess. He is from the wrong side of the tracks. Clea is the girl he has always loved. Nick has been in jail while Clea went on with her life. They share a son. For most of this book I wanted to slap Clea. Good grief, Nick paid dearly for his mistake. She kept running back to Robert and what her mother wanted a girl of her class to do. My only complaint would be for an epilogue so I could have had more closure. You know a book is good when you shed a tear for a character,when you can't put it down, and when you ride the emotional roller coaster. Ladies, you will love Nick. He keeps loving Clea without running to other women when she is mean to him. There is a big twist that will be revealed.
