This story did not impress me at all. The characters are appalling. Grace is a spineless doormat who lets her boyfriend treat her like crud. He beats her, cuts her, humiliates her, tries to make her a vampire, decides to sell her on the internet and sacrifice his best friend. Her reaction? I'm going to kill myself to frame him but hey I forgot to plant the knife on him! Oh please! Nathan is a control freak who attacks her, threatens her friends and believes he is a vampire. Nothing nice about him or his idiot friend who has agreed to be sacrificed. The whole story is Grace sitting there dying from this stab wound and hoping Nathan will get blamed. There seemed little point to this story as it didn't catch my interest in any way or make me want to continue with a following series. 3.5 StarsI actually really enjoyed this 30 page prequel to Ally's Vampire From Hell series. I actually think I'll end up liking this story better because it's a little darker. The main character deals with an abusive, crazy boyfriend and his equally psycho friends who decide they are worshiping a snake goddess and the heroine has no choice but to comply but this decision ends up with a wildly different result than psycho boyfriend thinks (sorry I can't remember the character names right now). I definitely plan on continuing with the Fanged Love series and would also recommend the Vampire from Hell series as well. I read Fanged Love at the end of Ally Thomas' 3 part Vampire from Hell series so I didn't get this one separately but I will say they all revolve around each other quite well.
Stupid! Contradictory. Waste of time. Didn't make any sense. Wish I could give negative stars...
