Now I am definitely a Lauren Blakely fan. "Far too tempting" was the third book I read from this author and I just loved it. It was very detailed about the music industry and showed how a indie rock grammy winner singer Jane Black struggle to find inspiration in happiness and love after her great success album "Crushed" came from her shattered heart. After being left from her first husband and discovered that their marriage was never what she thought it was, she finds the British, gorgeous, and way too tempting, Matthew. Great book that really takes you into another world! It is the story of Jane, a musician, who makes it big after her ex-husband, Aidan, admits he is gay and leaves her for a man. She writes an album, called Crushed, about the anguish of it all, and it goes platinum. (The songs remind me of "We are Never, Never Getting Back Together" by Taylor Swift in that she bares it all in a way that everyone who has ever been dumped can relate to.) She has a young son, and so has to see Aidan when he visits to see his son. She meets Matthew, a music critic, and they go through a lot of dating drama, but he is a great guy. Jane is a strong woman, a good mom and great character. You will enjoy this one!
